Hanmi Semiconductor announced on the 31st that its operating profit for the previous year soared 639% year-over-year, reaching 255.4 billion KRW. During the same period, revenue increased by 252% to 558.9 billion KRW.
The sharp rise in earnings is attributed to the surging demand for TC Bonders, essential equipment for manufacturing high-bandwidth memory (HBM), as the AI market experiences rapid expansion.
Hanmi Semiconductor holds the top global market share in HBM TC Bonder production and currently supplies its products to SK Hynix, Micron, and other major players. In January, the company held a groundbreaking ceremony for its seventh TC Bonder factory in Incheon, and it has set a revenue target of 1.2 trillion KRW for this year.
Hanmi Semiconductor Chairman Kwak Dong-shin stated, "With the rapid growth of the AI market, the global HBM market is expanding explosively every year. By proactively expanding our production capacity to meet the increasing demand for HBM, Hanmi Semiconductor will continue its sustainable growth."
