On January 7 (local time), Cosmo Group Chairman Heo Kyung-soo announced, "By fully launching our wearable robotics business with world-class competitiveness, we aim to make 2025 the first year of a new Cosmo Group."
Chairman Heo made this statement at the CES 2025, the world’s largest electronics trade show, which opened in Las Vegas, USA.
Heo explained, "While Cosmo Group has solidified its leadership in the secondary battery materials sector through unmatched competitive advantages, we have identified robotics as our next growth engine for the future."
He further added, "We plan to become a global leader in wearable robotics by developing products such as rehabilitation robots, walking assistance robots, and industrial wearable suits. Cosmo Robotics has already obtained top-tier certifications from the U.S. FDA, the European Union's CE, and China's CFDA, positioning it as a driving force behind our robotics business."
Cosmo Robotics is a subsidiary of Cosmo Group, which also owns two publicly listed companies, Cosmo Chemical and Cosmo Advanced Materials.
At this year’s CES, Cosmo Robotics showcased six products: the adult wearable robot 'EA2 Pro,' the youth-oriented 'BAM-T,' the pediatric-focused 'BAM-K,' the home-use robot 'EA Personal,' the walking assistance device 'CoSuit,' and the industrial wearable suit 'CoSaver.'
